Coaching & Training

Having a personal training background and educated through the NSCA (National Strength & Conditioning Association), I obtained my CSCS (Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist) in order to work with athletes of all levels and abilities as well as individuals with a desire to become an athlete.  My goal with the individuals I work with is to present the proper knowledge to help them become sustainable and comfortable in performing in a high intensity situation.  My approach to training lies within developing a personalized approach to help individuals reach their goals outside of the gym.  I do this by focusing on  specificity in strength training, mental awareness, recovery methods and nutrition.

Outside of coaching climbing and fitness classes at Summit Strength & Fitness,  I also work seasonally with various programs  such as the; UW Hoofers collegiate climbing team, Edgewood High School boys golf team, Tyrol Basin snowboard team, Apex Adventure Alliance,  Madison Women’s Climbers association, and triathlon teams. However I still have room in my schedule to offer strength and conditioning coaching to new clients.
