12814634_906329332268_1019114305502472656_n[1]Having a personal training background and educated through the NSCA (National Strength & Conditioning Association), I obtained my CSCS (Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist) in order to work with athletes of all levels and abilities as well as individuals with a desire to become an athlete.  My goal with the individuals I work with is to present the proper knowledge to help them become sustainable and comfortable in performing in a high intensity situation.  My approach to training lies within developing a personalized approach to help individuals reach their goals outside of the gym.  I do this by focusing on  specificity in strength training, mental awareness, recovery methods and nutrition.IMG_2023[1]

Outside of coaching all three levels of the youth climbing team year round, I also work seasonally with various programs  such as the; UW Hoofers collegiate climbing team, Edgewood High School boys golf team, Tyrol Basin snowboard team, Apex Adventure Alliance, and the Madison Women’s Climbers association.  However I still have time and space in my schedule to offer personal training.
